Make Waves for Ducklings 2008

Frequently Asked Questions

These are questions people have asked in this and prior years. If you have any other questions, please send them to BostonUncommons@yahoo.com .

1. What programs will we dance?  ?

We will certainly have Mainstream, Plus, A2 and C1 dancing. For A1 and other Challenge programs we will schedule time for any program for which eight or more dancers are preregistered.

June update: We have more than a square of C3A dancers already registered, and will certainly schedule some time for C3A. It is very likely we will schedule time for C2, as well.

2. Where is Medford ?

Medford is a suburb just north of Boston that happens to have a fabulous dance facility called Springstep. Those who attended Make Waves for Ducklings 2006 or 2008 will testify about the quality of the facility.

3. How do I find a roommate for the hotel ?

We suggest you use the LGCWSD mailing list on all8.com. If you are not a subscriber, direct your web browser to http://all8.com/mailman/listinfo/lgcwsd_all8.com .

4. Why should I bother with early registration ?

If you enjoy some particular program, be it MS, A1, or C4 and want to be sure it is well represented in our schedule, early registration lets us know. Please register on-line for the highest program you would like to dance in September 2010, or circle all your favorites on the paper registration form. Early registration also gives you the cheapest registration price, but if money is no object we are happy to let you pay full price even though you register early !

5. Will there be per-session pricing ?

Per session pricing will be available, and information will be posted shortly before the event. In the meantime, we'd love to see you come to the whole weekend!

6. How can I pay in US funds from a foreign country ?

PayPal is probably the easiest way for you to pay - you can do this on-line through the IAGSDC webisite.

IAGSDC Registration

If you already have a profile on the IAGSDC site, just log in to this page and hit the back button to return to the Make Waves for Ducklings page. If you don't have a profile, it only takes a few minutes to create one. Then either click this link again, or just go to the "events" page and scroll down to September 10th, 2010. If you would like to make other arrangements, please write to BostonUncommons@yahoo.com .

Thanks to Springstep for its support of this event.
